Good morning everyone, 

I hope you're all doing okay. 

English - Today, in school, we are doing our reading assessment which you will catch up on after half term. At home, I would like you to recap using speech punctuation. Look through these slides and then have a go at this worksheet.

Maths - Start by having a go at these arithmetic questions. We are on Day 3. Today we are looking at estimating answers. Watch this video and look through these slides if you need to. Then have a go at answering these questions. Here are the answers to check your work. 

Reading - Spend half an hour on Reading Plus doing a vocabulary or reading task. 

History - Today, we are looking at Egyptian Gods. Check back this afternoon for another blog post with your tasks.

Good afternoon Class 4, We're coming to the end of another week of home learning, with only one week left for the year! I'm so impressed with how you have all coped during this difficult time. Next week's home learning will look a little different as it is the last week of term, so this will be the last day with the Maths and English activities that you have been doing. Hello Class 4, I hope you have had a fantastic half-term with the lovely weather! I can't believe we are in our final term already! As many of you know Red Class, Class 1 and Class 6 are returning to school this week which means our activities are going to be a little different. Message to parents:  Please be aware that this term you will notice that the activities posted on the class blogs will be a little different from what you have been used to previously, for example, they may not always include an English and Maths lesson. This is for several reasons, i) there will be a focus on Well Being for the children (in and out of school) as we move through the Covid-19 journey; ii) normally during the summer term we have a range of curriculum focus weeks; iii) to ensure consistency for groups both attending school, or remaining at home.
