Monday 1st June

Hello Class 4,

I hope you have had a fantastic half-term with the lovely weather! I can't believe we are in our final term already!

As many of you know Red Class, Class 1 and Class 6 are returning to school this week which means our activities are going to be a little different.

Message to parents:
Please be aware that this term you will notice that the activities posted on the class blogs will be a little different from what you have been used to previously, for example, they may not always include an English and Maths lesson. This is for several reasons, i) there will be a focus on Well Being for the children (in and out of school) as we move through the Covid-19 journey; ii) normally during the summer term we have a range of curriculum focus weeks; iii) to ensure consistency for groups both attending school, or remaining at home. This approach will enable teaching staff to manage providing the planning for both groups in a workable manner.

This week, the school will focus on Well Being in our school community and reflecting on the changes we have all had to make over the last two months. We will also be enjoying some new P.E activities; the weather forecast is good to get out and about!

As before, for those at home, please complete as much or as little as you can, there are no expectations to complete all the work. We will aim to offer alternatives/ideas to address any resource difficulties. However, please feel free to change; adapt to suit your circumstances. There are of course resources such as those on BBC Bitesize that you can use to support you at home. Remember, just do as much as you are able to!

Here are your tasks for Monday: Monday 1st June.
For the PE activities, you may want to have a look at the website to get to grips with it. I have noted some instructions to help.

I hope you all have a great first day back!

Miss Dimond
