 Hi class 4

I hope you enjoyed your last day of term! I thought id share some more of your fantastic work!

Ed has been working super hard this week. He made a great Thaumatrope of Zoompiggy in jail! Great work.

 

Ed also wrote a really lovely ode to his cat Scooter. I am really impressed with your descriptive language! Lots of great metaphors and similes! I can see that you put so much effort in to your Ode. Well done Ed.



Ed also completed the Move More challenge by staying active with his family. Well done Ed!




James T made a fantastic Star Wars animation, I love how you managed to add a wave and a backdrop! Well done James.

James also wrote an excellent version of Ananse's Surprise! I am really impressed with your use of adverbials James! You have included lots of detail in the story which makes it lovely to read. If you would like to read James' story, here is the Link.

Harry P has written an excellent ode to lasagne! Great choice of food.  I am very impressed with all the descriptive you have used too Harry! I can see lots of metaphors and similes. Fantastic work. Well done!


Charlie has made a super animation using a thaumatrope! I'm so glad to see it works, it really looks like the crocodile's mouth is moving. Great job Charlie!


Celia has also written a fantastic ode dedicated to chicken noodles today! Another great choice of food! I am so impressed with how well written your poems are class 4! Celia has lots of loves similes and metaphors in her poem too!


Absolutely amazing work this term Class 4! I hope you have an amazing half-term.

Good afternoon Class 4, We're coming to the end of another week of home learning, with only one week left for the year! I'm so impressed with how you have all coped during this difficult time. Next week's home learning will look a little different as it is the last week of term, so this will be the last day with the Maths and English activities that you have been doing. James did a great Pointillist painting of a 'Dino Piggy'! I love the imagination behind this picture James and good choice of colours!  Great job! Ted has been working  hard during Home Learning. I am so impressed with this Anglo-Saxon settlement! What a fantastic job!  I also really like  how creative your model of the Water Cycle is with the hanging sun and clouds! Well done Ted.  James has been working hard researching Anglo-Saxons and his cat Marli was keen to find out more too! I'm so glad you're enjoying this topic James and Marli, well done for remembering all 7 kingdoms too. Great job! Ed has been doing a brilliant job helping out at home! Well done for making your bed and doing the washing Ed! Super helper! Charlie did an amazing retelling of The Willow Pattern with his own plate story! I love that you recreated it using Lego construction workers. Great story! Well done.

Hello Class 4, I hope you have had a fantastic half-term with the lovely weather! I can't believe we are in our final term already! As many of you know Red Class, Class 1 and Class 6 are returning to school this week which means our activities are going to be a little different. Message to parents:  Please be aware that this term you will notice that the activities posted on the class blogs will be a little different from what you have been used to previously, for example, they may not always include an English and Maths lesson. This is for several reasons, i) there will be a focus on Well Being for the children (in and out of school) as we move through the Covid-19 journey; ii) normally during the summer term we have a range of curriculum focus weeks; iii) to ensure consistency for groups both attending school, or remaining at home.
